It is a matter of immense pride and joy for the Global College of Pharmacy that one of its bright and promising students, Mr. Amandeep Singh, has brought laurels to the institution by winning the third prize in the Poetry Recitation Competition at the prestigious Interzone Youth Festival. The event was held at Shri Guru Teg Bahadur Ji Khalsa College, Anandpur Sahib, and was organized under the esteemed banner of the Guru Gobind Singh Study Circle, Zone Rupnagar. Various Students participated in different activities. Arman Kalia and Tania participated in a poster-making competition, Saksham and Kaushika participated in a Quiz Competition, and Renu and Simrandeep participated in a Gurbani recitation Competition. The Guru Gobind Singh Study Circle, Rupnagar zone, highly appreciated them.
This vibrant and competitive cultural festival witnessed participation from various reputed colleges across the region, showcasing an array of talents in diverse artistic and literary fields. Amidst this competitive atmosphere, Amandeep Singh stood out with his heartfelt and powerful poetry recitation, which not only captivated the judges and audience but also reflected his deep understanding of poetic expression and cultural richness.
His accomplishment is a reflection of his dedication, consistent practice, and passion for the literary arts. It also exemplifies the supportive and nurturing environment of Global College of Pharmacy that constantly motivates students to explore their potential beyond academics.
The success of this participation was made possible under the able guidance and sincere efforts of Prof. Kajal Choudhary and
Prof.Samiksha who took the initiative to mentor and prepare Amandeep for the event. Her commitment to student development and her role in shaping Amandeep’s performance was highly commendable. She was instrumental not only in providing the technical guidance for poetry but also in boosting the student’s confidence and stage presence. Her contribution was deeply appreciated by the entire college administration and faculty.
On this proud occasion, Dr. Sanjiv Duggal, Principal of Global College of Pharmacy, extended his heartfelt congratulations to Amandeep Singh for his outstanding achievement.
