NSS Medical camp : Courtesy GCOP

GLOBAL COLLEGE OF PHARMACY, KAHNPUR KHUI, ANANDPUR SAHIB, held a free medical camp from 10 to 11 March 2025 (2-day camp) with the goal of giving holla mohalla volunteers and the local community access to necessary or free healthcare services. NSS volunteers actively participated in this camp, which was led by Prof. Jasmine Dhiman (NSS Incharge) and took place from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. near the college's main gate.

Chairman J. S Gill and Dr. Sanjiv Duggal inaugurates the camp and stressed the value of accessibility and health awareness offering medical consultations, encouraging healthy habits, and addressing visitors' health issues were the event's main goals.

Services Offered: The medical camp provided a number of services, such as:

 • Free distribution of prescription medications

• BMI evaluations

 • General health examinations.

Holla Mohalla volunteers conveyed their appreciation for the high caliber and ease of access of the services offered. Additionally, the NSS volunteers acquired real-world experience and a greater comprehension of the community's healthcare issues. The successful free medical camp demonstrated Global College of Pharmacy's dedication to the health of its members, holla mohalla volunteers, and the local community. In addition to meeting urgent medical needs, these kinds of events promote social responsibility and awareness. During this medical camp other faculty members Prof. Priya Sharma, Prof.Shilpa, Prof. Neha, Prof. Samiksha, Prof. Kajal, Prof.Kavita Prof.Anjali, Prof.Lovepreet, Prof.Tanvi, Prof.Aditi were also present.
